Ben Patton
Ben Patton is the Office Administrator for the Itawamba County Sheriff's Department. In most places, an Office Administrator has a set day-to-day list of activities but this is far from true with our department. Mr. Patton is responsible for keeping almost everything that is done on a daily basis at the department in order. He has to keep a log of all Offence Forms and Custody Forms as well as filing and properly distributing them to the appropriate location. He is also responsible for some of the financial planning and billing for the department. All of the repairs to the Sheriff's Department vehicles are logged by him with each one having a specific P.O. Number attached.
The list of Mr. Patton's Duties here is almost endless. He comes in early, stays late, and sometimes comes in on his days off. Ben Patton is a vital part of this department and is always ready to go above and beyond to see that the needs of the public as well as the department staff are met.
