Itawamba County Dispatch is the central location for all of the communications in the county.  Our dispatchers are responsible for all of the emergency calls that come in to Itawamba County.  Where other agencies have separate dispatchers for Police Departments, Sheriff's Departments, and 911, our dispatchers handle all of them and many times, all at once.  They have a lot more responsibility than most people know.  They handle calls ranging from suspicious vehicles to talking someone through the process of delivering a baby.  They have stressful and sometimes overwhelming jobs but our dispatchers are some of the best in their field and we are proud each of them is a part of our team.
