We respond to any type of fire scene whether it be structure fire, automobile, or woods fire. We are generally called to a fire by a member of the responding fire department. We respond to all scenes where there is serious / life threatening injury or death resulting from a fire. We may also be contacted by the property owner if they believe an invevestigation is necessary. The Itawamba County Fire Investigators work together with the Mississippi State Fire Marshal's Office where the agent for our area, Johnathan Owens - Deputy State Fire Marshal, completes the investigation process. We work together to insure that individuals responsible for arson are held accountable for their actions.
