All of us have been to "Active Shooter" training and we are in the process of getting everyone through the High Risk Event training offered at the RCTA training facility. We have all been involved in serving medium to high risk search warrants with our narcotics team and we have all been involved in various sting operations as well.
We also have a Dive Team that does under water search and rescue operations. Our dive team may by called out to assist in the recovery of property, weapons, and/or victims.
Our S.O.G. (Special Operations Group) is a tactical team that responds to all high risk situations such as but not limited to:
Barricaded Suspects
High Risk Search/Arrest Warrants
Hostage Situations
Active Shooter Situations
Our team is made up of a 6 man entry team, a negotiator, a sniper and spotter, a K-9, and a perimeter team. The team is on call 24/7.
